Happy Weekend! San Francisco is a bit gloomy today...raining all weekend and I'm down with the flu. So, I've been 'pinning' of course!

This lovely image above of an alley in North Beach by Mitchell Funk takes my breath away. San Francisco is quite a colorful city, but never saw it in a pastel kinda way...Oh Spring, please come visit us soon!

Hello Pinners! Here's a Most Useful Tip!

If you're a Pinterest user and/or blogger as I am, you'll often find it quite frustrating to locate the original source (artist/blogger/photographer) of many images that you're pinning. It's a pet peeve of mine. Drives me crazy!

It's so very important to credit someone's work, that I did a post back in 201o about 'giving credit when credit is due.' You've even seen my "find the photo" contests to find the original source.

Well, thanks to the Graphics Fairy, she's found a simple way to drag and drop your image into Google images, and voila!, the original image is usually there. Click on this link for an easy, breezy tutorial! I'm loving this!

Another useful tip...on Miss Moss's blog, she uses another tip to track images, "src img." Click here for this easy tip.

And lastly, TinEye reverse image search, which some of you may be familiar with!

New Arrivals & New Floor at Paris Hotel Boutique!

We're thrilled launch our new floor, "Gents Quarter," on the 12th floor at Paris Hotel Boutique. Gents Quarter offers everything from barware and binoculars, to tobaccianna and trophies for our guys. Choo Choo! All Aboard the LV Train!

This week was Marc Jacobs’s fall fashion show for Louis Vuitton and was it over-the-top! It paid homage to the company’s origins as a luggage purveyor. The images and video amazed me, as I'm not one who's usually very interested in runway shows.

It began with a beautiful vintage-inspired steam engine pulling into a set in a courtyard of the Louvre, which had been transformed into an old train station.

My eyes nearly popped out while watching a string of models stepping off the LV train with old-fashioned hats, bedecked accessories, over-sized buttons and, of course, some gorgeous Louis Vuitton bags. The icing on the cake was the porters that accompanied each model.

But...you must watch the video yourself!

Obsessing Over...

Barcelona. That's right. I've been pinning several images of amazing exteriors for a couple of years now, not even realizing that many of them were from Barcelona!

Take a look at some lovely images from some talented photographers and the architects behind them...

This magnificent facade detail of Casa Milà (above), better known as La Pedrera (‘The Quarry’) designed by architect, Antoni Gaudi, takes my breath away! I must take a trip to Spain!

I've been a little side-tracked this morning on Pinterest, while trying to do my work. A little side-tracked? I'm addicted! When this image of the new Diana Lomography camera popped up, I quickly pinned it! With an early 60s vibe, the all-plastic Diana knocked my socks off. At $109, it's pretty darn cute, isn't it? When I saw this large handbag made of antique cowhide, not only did I pin it, but I bought it! A bit more expensive than the camera, but handmade with antique cowhide? SOLD! You can purchase the bag here at Neo's Handmade Leather Bags.
