I just stumbled upon this 16th century dog kennel on Pinterest. I gasped when I saw it. It's on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Can you imagine your pooch resting in this? Oh my. Of course, it's French--the maker, Jean-Baptiste-Claude SenĂ© (1748–1803). Wish little Vito had one. Did I mention that fits in perfect with our decor???

Oh my goodness Lynn...that was definitely made for Marie Antoinettes dog, I'm sure or for one of the Louis' !!
