I think I found the real San Francisco treat.

Welcome pink popcorn. I've known you for 52 years. Those fun days at the zoo and Playland at the Beach. I assumed that your yummy, sweet, almost stale pressed popcorn was known nationally. It was only tonight, as I was chowing down your gooey pinkness, that I found out  you were made exclusively in San Francisco.

Yes, Wright's Pink Popcorn has been a San Francisco staple since the 1940s. And, I'm thrilled that they're around to stay.
