Beauty in Decay?

I don't know about you, but I find some sort of beauty in abandoned structures. Perhaps it's a morbid fascination.

With Halloween coming up, I thought I'd post this creepy-esque,  images of an abandoned doctor's mansion in Germany taken by photographer Daniel Marbaix.

The long-abandoned examination room of the physician who once owned this home

Who lived there? Why did they leave in such a hurry?
