Flashback! Time for an Update?

Certainly many of you remember the (ahem) frightening decor of the 1970s. Believe me, I lived in one of those homes as well!

I thought this photo just about summed up everything. Lots going on here! Makes me dizzy!

I must say that the 70s win the award for the most hideous design. Any thoughts?
